The private room was incredibly spacious, clean, and modern with a ridiculously comfortable bed. The kitchen and common areas were mind-blowing, wifi worked like a charm, and the staff were beyond friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be choosing to stay here again when I'm in town. The location is conveniently close to supermarkets, shops, and markets. The hostel is about a 15-minute drive from the train station and 50 minutes from the airport.

Exceptional: Loved the free WiFi, but who needs fresh air when you can stay indoors with the AC? And thank goodness for the front desk, who I'm sure never got tired of my endless requests. Slightly disappointed though, they didn't provide a personal butler.

Kitchen access to prepare own food, free tea and bananas in the morning, helpful and friendly staff who arranged to keep us in the same room even though we booked separately, nice common area, sparkling clean with comfortable beds.

The guestrooms at Hangover Hostels in Colombo are just amazing! The beds are so comfy, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. And the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot Colombo weather. Plus, the free WiFi was a great bonus!
Personally, I wasn't a big fan of the safes in the guestrooms. But hey, that's just me!

I got great value for my money at this hostel. The room was clean and comfortable, and I felt very secure with the facilities and big locker provided. The location was convenient, with shops and places to eat nearby.
The morning meal could have been better with more variety or options.

The property's shared lounge was a great place to relax and meet fellow travelers. I spent hours there, chatting and swapping stories, feeling like I was in my own cozy living room.
Noisy music next to hostel.

Exceptional stay, felt like a celebrity with the constant presence of the 24-hour front desk. The free WiFi just added to the VIP treatment. The Beira Lake and Galle Face Green were so close, I almost mistook them for my own backyard.
I just loved hearing the soothing sounds of laundry machines right outside my room at all hours.

I had a fantastic time at this hostel! My original plan was to stay for only three nights, but I ended up extending multiple times because everything was just so smooth. The staff, especially Sunil bai and Josh, were incredibly sweet and helpful. The hostel itself has a super chill and relaxed vibe, perfect for hanging out and socializing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the shared kitchen had everything I needed. Definitely a must-go if you're in the area!
Can just recommend this hostel.
